Urgent care medical fees
Check through our medical fees to find the fee that applies to you. As East Care is privately funded we do not get public health funding for Urgent Care. However, if you’re a Community Services Card Holder, you’ll get some funding from the MoH. Do make sure you have your card with you when you come to A&E so we can charge the correct health care fees.

ACC fees
If you’ve had an accident, it’s likely you can get help with your medical treatment fees from ACC. First, we’ll need to assess your injury to check it meets the ACC criteria of an accident. Importantly, children under the age of 14 are free of fees when having an ACC A&E appointments.

How much is Urgent A&E care?
Public Holidays: A $15 surcharge will apply on a public holiday unless covered by the after-hours funding. This occurs when you are given a voucher from a local hospital and referred to East Care or you meet After Hours funding criteria.
Non-residents: Our medical fees are for NZ residents. If you are visiting form overseas, the health care fees for Medical are $205, and ACC is $165.
Payment terms: Payment is required at the time of consultation.

A one-stop-shop for your family healthcare needs, the East Care medical centre has a range of onsite health services. Serving the Howick community for more than 30 years, you’ll find the health services you need at East Care.
Easy, Accessible Parking. Plenty of parking is available right outside the East Care Medical Centre. Drive in from Botany Road. Naturally, we have wheelchair access and accessible parks by the front doors. Also, there is parking around the back of the building, near the Specialists Centre.
